About the job QA Manual - France & InglésSenior QA Engineer (Functional Testing)At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a functional testing background to act as the quality reference within a large international development team.This is not a hands-on automation role: we are looking for someone who owns the testing strategy, leads functional quality, and becomes “the voice of quality” for the whole team - someone with the seniority and communication skills to influence developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.Your roleYou will join a large, international software development team, taking ownership of quality end to end.Your Main Responsibilities Will IncludeDefining the test strategy, scope, and test plans for the productExecuting and coordinating functional and manual testing activitiesEstablishing acceptance criteria and ensuring adequate test coverageManaging defects throughout the development lifecycle, including severity assessment and follow-upWorking closely with developers and the Product Owner as the quality counterpartGuiding the development team on how to prepare and structure automated testsReviewing the results of test automation and AI-assisted testing to ensure reliabilityPromoting a quality-first culture and coaching the team on QA best practicesWhat we are looking for5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong functional/manual testing backgroundProven experience defining test strategies and test plans from scratchExperience managing defects, acceptance criteria, and quality reportingSolid understanding of test automation concepts - enough to review, orient, and challenge automated tests (you will not be responsible for building the framework)Experience managing testing workflows using JIRA or similar toolsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead by influence within large teamsAutonomy, ownership, and a genuine quality mindsetEnglish level B2+ or higher, as you will work in international environmentsFrench is a strong plusAbility to work from within European territoryWhat we offerOpportunity to work on international technology projects in a leading industrial environmentA role with real ownership and visibility: you define how quality is doneCollaboration with high-level engineering teamsFlexible and modern working environmentCareer growth opportunities within a growing technology consulting companyCompetitive compensation packageInterested?If you are passionate about software quality, testing strategy, and leading quality within modern development teams, we would love to hear from you.#J-*****-Ljbffr
