Design Engineer

Design Manager £60,000 £70,000 plus Benefits West London Full-Time / Permanent A leading construction and engineering contractor is looking for a Design Manager to support a major redevelopment project in Acton. The scheme includes two hyperscale data centres, an office building and a new substation, following full demolition, utility diversions and ground remediation. YOUR NEW ROLE Youll lead design delivery from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring designs are compliant, buildable and aligned with programme, cost, quality and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage design delivery and governance across all project stages Develop and control design programmes Coordinate consultants, designers and subcontractors Lead design reviews, approvals and technical assurance Identify value engineering opportunities Support construction teams with technical queries Oversee as-built information and O&M documentation Build strong relationships with clients and project teams
