Job description

Job Summary: Lafayette Group is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated individual to work within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)’s Threat Hunting (TH) sub-division to assist with managing and developing strategic data products, coordinating stakeholder meetings and other strategic communications efforts, and conducting a variety of strategic, operational, and business-process analyses related to performance measures and metrics. This will be a data-heavy position, so strong data analytic skills, experience with common data analysis/parsing tools, and an understanding of data stewardship principles is a must., 1. Data Strategy: Serve as the backbone of TH’s strategic initiatives by establishing a comprehensive data framework for collecting, managing, and utilizing data effectively. Define strategic objectives, determine data collection methods, ensure data quality and security, and align data practices with the goals and vision.

  1. KPI Development: Identify and define key performance indicators that are crucial for measuring the organization’s success. This involves conducting in-depth analysis, consulting with stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, and selecting indicators that provide actionable insights into performance against objectives.
  2. Metric Design: Develop performance metrics that are well-designed, meaningful, and aligned with strategic objectives. This involves defining clear measurement criteria, establishing benchmarks and targets, and designing metrics that provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  3. Gap Analysis: Responsible for examining the existing dataset and comparing it against the data required to meet organizational goals. By identifying gaps in the available data, the team can gain insights into where additional data collection or refinement is needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with data collection and metric development efforts
  • Demonstrated experience with performance management

  • Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, and multi-task on several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ability to interact, collaborate, and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, both internal and on the client site
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain entry on duty(EOD)/suitability or a security clearance

Desired Qualifications:
