Job description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer who will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and customizing ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. You will work across various ServiceNow products and participate in the full software development lifecycle. This is an opportunity to work on exciting federal government projects while growing your ServiceNow expertise., 1. Develop and enhance scoped applications in ServiceNow.

  1. Build catalog items, record producers, workflows, and custom applications.
  2. Write and optimize scripts using GlideRecord, Business Rules, Script Includes, and APIs.
  3. Implement and troubleshoot ACLs and apply ServiceNow security best practices.
  4. Use Update Sets and Application Repository for migration and deployment.
  5. Collaborate in Agile teams with Scrum Masters, Architects, Analysts, and Developers.
  6. Peer review code and participate in both developer and client testing cycles.
  7. Provide clear explanations of ServiceNow concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders., Please Note: We maintain an on-camera policy for all virtual company meetings to foster engagement and collaboration. Reasonable exceptions may be granted with prior approval from Human Resources and/or the applicable manager or client.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance Requirement: Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience (beyond admin-level configuration).
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client/Server-side).
  • Proficiency with ACLs, including order of operations.
  • Experience building catalog items, record producers, and scoped applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Ability to independently solve technical problems and explain reasoning., * ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • Experience with HRSD, ITSM, CSM, or PPM modules.
  • Federal government project experience.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD).
  • Strong foundational programming background (beyond ServiceNow-only experience).
