Test Architect

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead QA activities for implementing an insurance platform, ensuring production-ready quality across iterative releases. You will shape the overall test strategy and coordinate with vendor and business stakeholders to manage SIT and end-to-end validations. You’ll remain hands-on in test design, execution, and automation, balancing leadership with practical testing work. This position offers the opportunity to impact policy, billing, claims, and distribution processes within a complex multi-system environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality and successful releases. Compensation / Benefits * Define and own end-to-end test strategy for product implementation including functional, integration, data validation, regression, and nonfunctional testing (performance, batch, interfaces) * Design, review, and execute test scenarios and cases for API, event-driven, batch, and file-based integrations across upstream/downstream systems * Perform hands-on testing: defect reproduction, root-cause analysis, and validation of fixes * Coordinate and support dual run and phased rollout testing during coexistence with legacy platforms * Lead integration testing across products and enterprise systems ensuring end-to-end traceability and data integrity * Validate interface contracts, data mappings, and transformation logic with integration leads and architects * Drive adoption of test automation and align with CI/CD pipelines for frequent releases * Own defect lifecycle management including severity, triage, resolution validation, and release readiness reporting * Provide regular quality metrics, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations for releases * Serve as primary QA contact for systems integrators, business SMEs, IT and architecture teams * Provide status updates and risk visibility through dashboards to program leadership Tasks * 15+ years of QA experience with hands-on leadership in large enterprise implementations * Strong background in System Integration Testing (SIT) for complex multi-system environments * Solid understanding of life insurance domain processes (policy, billing, claims, enrolment, distribution) * Experience testing APIs, batch jobs, file transfers, and event-driven integrations * Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Aha, ALM type tools) Key requirements *
