Experteer Overview As Senior Systems Engineer III, you lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex on-premises and cloud infrastructure that supports critical services. You collaborate with security, networking, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions aligned with our enterprise strategy. You drive incident response, architecture standards, and multi-year technology roadmaps, shaping how we modernize and automate our IT landscape. Compensation / Benefits * Architect and engineer highly available, secure infrastructure across on-prem and cloud platforms * Lead full lifecycle of infrastructure solutions from requirements to operations handoff * Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents and perform RCA and remediation planning * Govern core identity and access management services (directory, hybrid identity, SSO, conditional access, privileged access) * Lead major initiatives (cloud migrations, datacenter consolidations, directory redesigns, platform modernization, automation) * Define and enforce standards and reference architectures for security, hardening, patching, performance, and observability * Design and validate backup, DR, and business continuity architectures with runbooks and testing * Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code to improve consistency and efficiency * Partner with security on vulnerability management, compliance, and remediation * Collaborate with network and application teams to ensure integrated, performant solutions * Provide senior technical leadership and mentorship to sysadmins and engineers * Evaluate emerging tech, run proofs of concept, contribute to roadmaps Tasks * Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering or administration * Deep expertise in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 or comparable enterprise collaboration environments * Strong experience with Azure or equivalent cloud platform (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, security) * Proven ability to design and implement highly available, resilient architectures (clustering, load balancing, redundancy, recovery) * Advanced automation and scripting using PowerShell and related tools * Solid understanding of enterprise networking and security concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, TLS, VPNs, secure publishing) * Proven track record leading major infrastructure projects from design through handoff * Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills to translate business requirements into technical designs Key requirements *
