Job description

As our Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our product development, crafting the embedded intelligence that drives our devices. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing embedded software using C/C++.
  • Implementing new product features and enhancements
  • Investigating and resolving software defects and customer-reported issues
  • Developing and executing unit, integration, and system-level testing
  • Actively participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous software quality improvements
  • Producing and maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation
  • Working closely with hardware, systems, test, and product management teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Following company development processes, coding standards, and quality procedures
  • Providing production and post-production support

Requirements

Are you a passionate embedded software engineer ready to make a real impact on critical infrastructure?, * A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
  • Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems architecture.
  • Understanding of software design principles and version control systems.
  • Ability to analyse technical problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of Linux OS in embedded environments, including customization and optimization of the Linux kernel and bootloader (Uboot) for embedded targets.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop practical, efficient solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and results
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Desirable but not essential :

  • Experience with ARM Cortex-based processors.
  • Knowledge of RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS.
  • Experience with various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with software quality tools, static analysis, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to industrial control, protection, or automation systems.
