Candidates are expected to have international research experience in one or more of the topics listed above, witnessed by a strong publication record in mathematical journals and/or conferences in theoretical computer science.
Requirements
The Algorithmic graph theory group in the department of mathematics at the Technical University Darmstadt seeks to fill several open full-time positions for PostDocs. We are looking for candidates who seek (further) academic qualification in one or more of the following fields:
- structural graph theory;
- design of algorithms on discrete structure;
- finite model theory. structures, PhD or equivalent, * Outstanding PhD degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field at the start of the employment;
- Interest and ambition for mathematical research;
- Active participation in an open, vibrant, and collaborative research atmosphere within the group;
- Solid background appropriate to the applicant’s stage of career in one or more of the following areas:
- structural graph theory;
- design of algorithms on discrete structures;
