Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide system support for a software development program, covering setup, configuration, and software installation across Cloud and non-Cloud environments. You will work closely with developers and end users to optimize systems, script common SA tasks, and identify performance improvements. You will ensure licensing compliance and troubleshoot Linux, hardware, and network issues in a hands-on infrastructure setting. This position offers growth through exposure to secure, mission-critical IT operations. Compensation / Benefits * Provide system support for a software development program * Set up, configure, and install software for development, test, and production systems (Cloud and non-Cloud) * Interface with development teams and end users * Assist with system specifications and configurations * Script common SA functions * Determine system optimizations * Ensure compliance with enterprise licensing agreements * Troubleshoot Linux systems (hardware, OS, applications, networking) Tasks * Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance; U.S. citizenship required * Hands-on IT infrastructure experience (server installation, rack/stack, cabling, hardware troubleshooting) * Linux system administration experience * Networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching) * Experience with virtualization (VMware, Xen, Nutanix) is a plus * Automation experience with Ansible or similar tools is a plus * Ability to document and maintain technical SOPs * Understanding of patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance (preferred) * Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment * Five years SA experience in similar programs (or nine years without degree) * Experience with Linux administration is required Key requirements * Health coverage: medical, dental, vision * Life/AD&D and disability insurance * 401(k) with company match * Generous PTO and parental leave * Wellness programs and mental health support * Tuition reimbursement and professional development alternatives
