Job description

Experteer Overview In this Data Scientist IV role, you apply analytics and programming to build data-driven solutions addressing network reliability and customer experience. You’ll collaborate with network engineers, software engineers, and operations teams to analyze telemetry data and develop models that detect and predict network issues. You drive data quality, feature engineering, and insights for stakeholders while managing independent projects. This is a hands-on, mission-driven position in a cloud-enabled, big-data environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement data quality procedures for existing and new data sources * Research and apply data science theories to inform business decisions * Develop ML models to detect and predict network issues impacting customer experience * Assist in feature engineering to extract insights from raw telemetry data * Create and present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders * Plan, manage, and monitor projects from concept to implementation * Maintain data tools, code, and models with appropriate quality controls Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research * 2+ years data science experience * 2+ years programming experience * Proficiency with Python, R, SQL; knowledge of additional languages is a plus * Experience with cloud-based infrastructures * Experience with big data tools such as Spark and Hive * Strong mathematical and statistical background and ability to apply techniques * Ability to synthesize findings and present to diverse audiences Key requirements * comprehensive pay and benefits package
