Azure Data Engineer (Full Stack)

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Azure Data Engineer (Full Stack) on behalf of our client in New York, NY. This role is ideal for a seasoned technology professional with deep expertise in data engineering, software development, and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will design and develop scalable data platforms, APIs, and distributed systems while leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies to support enterprise data initiatives and business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and integration solutions. Build and maintain enterprise applications, APIs, and services using C# and .NET technologies. Architect and implement cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Develop and support data workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, and related Azure services. Create and optimize database solutions, including data modeling, query tuning, and performance optimization. Design and support large-scale distributed data platforms and processing systems. Implement and maintain event-driven architectures and real-time data integration solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing technology solutions. Support CI/CD processes and contribute to DevOps best practices and deployment automation. Participate in solution design, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical roles. Strong expertise in SQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with C# and .NET application development. Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Functions. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies, data integration, and pipeline design. Experience working with large-scale, high-volume, or distributed data systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern cloud-native data architectures. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar distributed processing technologies. Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs or comparable platforms. Familiarity with Azure App Configuration. Experience working with Azure API Management (APIM).
