Requirements

Local candidates strongly preferred, interview will be f-f for final round (after 1-2 video rounds, will likely have a coding test) Key skills: Java, Fixed Income Trading, Camel, Regulatory experience and Murex is also a plus Note from manager: Many of the resumes I found were full stack kinds doing a lot of WEB/ REST API whereas we are looking at candidates more focused on server-side development with heavy messaging-based architecture. Another important skill I am looking for missing in many rejected that they all seems to be individual contributor types with no team lead or ownership kind of experience - an ideal candidate for us is someone with 10-15 years of experience and has been leading a small team of developers (offshore) and manage their deliverables., 10+ years of core Java server development experience with a focus on server-side systems. Strong knowledge of XML , Spring and Camel Framework Proficient in message queues (Kafka, JMS, ActiveMQ , IBM MQ etc.) and integration with enterprise systems. Proficient in SQL, and experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Sybase, etc.). Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube) Proven track record of leading small-to-medium teams, mentoring developers, and managing deliverables., Experience in financial products (derivatives IRD/FX/CRD). Experience with operations systems processes like regulatory reporting systems and collateral management processes.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
