  • Mentor staff to gain familiarity and comfort supporting AWS cloud-native applications

  • Establish and lead AI-assisted development practices, mentoring staff on effective, responsible adoption of Claude Code / AWS Kiro across the SDLC

Requirements

  • 8+ years of extensive experience with AWS Cloud services (ECS, RDS, ALB, Route 53, CloudWatch, Side-car patterns)
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience using AI coding harnesses/agents - preferably Claude Code or AWS Kiro - with the judgment to know when to rely on AI output and when to override it

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration
  • Experience as a full-stack developer with comprehensive AWS Cloud expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using native AWS services and modern development frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate agentic AI development tools into team workflows - establishing prompting standards, guardrails, and review practices to improve delivery velocity and code quality without compromising security or maintainability
