Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you design, build, and secure Linux-based systems across secure environments to ensure reliability and performance. You will collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to enable high availability and seamless integration. You automate tasks, manage containers, and drive security and compliance efforts. You will shape scalable Linux infrastructures across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, contributing to mission-critical operations. This is a role with impact in national security and opportunities for continuous growth. Compensation / Benefits * Install, configure, and maintain Linux OS and servers * Monitor performance, reliability, and security; respond to alerts * Troubleshoot Linux, application, hardware, and networking issues * Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) * Apply updates, patching, and system hardening * Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures * Collaborate with network and infra teams for high availability * Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures * Provide technical guidance to users and admins * Manage DNS, DHCP, LDAP, NTP, and mail relays * Architect and maintain scalable, highly available Linux infrastructures * Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes * Perform vulnerability scanning and security audits; enforce access controls (SELinux) * Root-cause analysis for networking, storage, or performance issues Tasks * Bachelor * 7+ years of related experience * Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph * CCNA Key requirements * flexible time off * robust learning resources * healthcare * retirement * time off benefits * continuing education
