System Product Test Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will help shape the testing framework for Microsoft’s cloud hardware by developing system-level tests and platform strategies. You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to build automated SLT solutions, characterize power-performance, and improve outgoing quality. You will drive data-backed optimization from system to tester, contributing to scalable, high-quality cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on, cross-team role that supports silicon manufacturing and platform reliability at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Develop system-level test (SLT) strategies, requirements, and automation across hardware and software * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, firmware, and automation for SLT platforms * Characterize power/performance from system to automated test equipment (ATE) * Generate and leverage data to optimize product quality and power/performance * Guide the software automation infrastructure for SLT and tester correlation * Manage multiple development activities across product groups * Perform system-level failure triage and debug across silicon, hardware, and software Tasks * Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year(s) experience OR Bachelor’s in the same fields with 2+ years experience OR equivalent experience * Security screening and export control compliance is required for the role Key requirements *
