NET MAUI Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled .NET MAUI Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation cross-platform applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of mobile and desktop application architecture, a proven track record with .NET MAUI and Xamarin, and is proficient in C# and the .NET ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and development teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance applications., * Architectural Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mobile and desktop applications using .NET MAUI and related technologies.

• Strategic Planning: Define and maintain the technical standards and architectural guidelines for cross-platform development.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices for coding, performance, and security.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX design, and backend services, to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile and cross-platform development, and recommend new approaches to maximize development efficiency.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and maintain technical documentation.
• CI/CD Implementation: Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated builds, testing, and distribution.
• Platform Management: Oversee the application lifecycle, including managing submissions to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and other distribution channels.
• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve complex technical issues related to performance, memory, and application stability across platforms.

Experience Level: [10+ years of total software development experience, with 3-5+ years in mobile architecture], * Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in mobile application architecture and development.

• .NET MAUI Expertise: Proven track record with .NET MAUI and/or experience migrating Xamarin applications to MAUI.
• C# and .NET: Expert proficiency in C#, .NET (7+ preferred), XAML, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Architecture and Design: Deep understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel), SOLID principles, and dependency injection.
• Cross-Platform Knowledge: Extensive hands-on experience developing cross-platform applications for Android, iOS, and Windows.
• Integration Experience: Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and async programming to integrate with backend services.
• Database Experience: Experience with local storage solutions like SQLite and working knowledge of Entity Framework Core.
• Development Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git for version control, and CI/CD best practices.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with other developers.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Previous experience with native mobile development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) APIs, push notifications, or other advanced mobile features.
• Experience working with Blazor Hybrid or other hybrid app development technologies.
