Senior UX Designer, Amazon Vehicle Sales

In this role, you’ll be designing new product offerings for a new customer experience on Amazon., Create elegant and intuitive, multi-modal user experiences by incorporating insights, business requirements and technical constraints

• Lead the planning and strategic phases of a project. Proactively pitch new CX ideas, backed by a strong, well-articulated rationale
• Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, and lo-fi prototypes, with detailed visual design specifications for web and mobile interfaces
• Independently deliver UX solutions for problems of large scope and complexity
• Be a champion for user-centered design by researching/testing your solutions in front of users
• Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadership
• Contribute to user experience design guidelines and development best practices and standards at Amazon Design Community
• Proactively mentor and lead other designers

About the team This role is one of the first on a newly formed team in with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.

• Can think, act and design for a global customer In this role, you will be reviewing designs regularly with senior executives. You will be expected to educate down, up and out on your design decisions and back them up with data/customer insight. You will be responsible for managing your own work queue and should demonstrate an ability to work around difficult design limitations. You’ll be an advocate for our customer experience, and understand your Amazon customer base, the competition and industry., 8+ years of design experience

• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
• Experience with UX design of complex workflows

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
