Senior DevOps Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will enable mission-critical GEOINT systems by deploying and sustaining secure DevSecOps pipelines in a Linux-based multi-tenant AWS environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and secure cloud networks, manage CI/CD with GitLab, and support developers through testing and deployment. You’ll translate security findings into remediation actions and maintain documentation to ensure reliable, scalable services. This opportunity puts you at the intersection of cloud, security, and geospatial middleware, contributing to NGA’s GEOINT mission. Compensation / Benefits * Support deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline in Linux multi-tenant environment * Design, implement, and secure AWS VPC networking and connectivity; diagnose connectivity issues * Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code * Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers * Review code in Git and generate engineering docs * Support developer deployments and testing in the environment * Provide technical guidance for microservices and capabilities * Create and maintain DevOps documentation * Perform security remediation from scans * Perform other duties as assigned Tasks * Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain Polygraph after hire * US citizenship * 8+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years with a Masters * Proactive, self-starter with strong communication skills * Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes, and scripting * Experience with AWS services/technologies (CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS) and AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) * Experience with cloud-based architectures and DevSecOps methodologies * Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines * Understanding of SW development and sustainment practices * Team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence) Key requirements *
