Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will architect, design, implement, test, and integrate embedded real-time software for firmware and hardware in heterogeneous systems. You’ll work in a cross-discipline IPT to ensure measurable quality and robust operation of edge/embedded devices. You’ll mentor teammates and contribute to design reviews and proposals. This onsite role in Tucson offers involvement across product lines and exposure to mission-critical, safety-sensitive software. You help shape next-generation autonomous avionics solutions within a fast-paced, Lean/Agile environment. Compensation / Benefits * Architect, design, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software for firmware/hardware integrations * Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to improve product concept, implementation, and testability * Mentor and coach less experienced staff * Contribute to proposals and critical design reviews * Maintain eligibility to obtain program access and security clearance Tasks * Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience * Experience in at least two areas: Embedded C++ software, Embedded software security, or Software architecture design and implementation * Experience with embedded RTOS (e.g., Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, Linux) * Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software in complex systems * Active and transferable final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance (required prior to start) Key requirements * medical, dental, vision * life insurance * 401(k) match * flexible spending accounts * paid time off and holidays * relocation offered based on eligibility
