IND IT Software Engineer II

• Pipeline Development: Design, construct, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, Spark, Pyspark

• Big Data Processing: Architect and optimize distributed processing systems utilizing Apache Spark , Hadoop

• Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage serverless and cloud-native data architectures leveraging AWS (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and Athena).

• Data Warehousing: Design dimensional data models and optimize query performance for large-scale analytics.

• Monitoring & Security: Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring/alerting, and adhere to strict data governance and security standards.

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of professional experience in data engineering or software development.

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience building data lakes and data warehouses natively on AWS .

• Big Data Frameworks: Proficiency with distributed computing engines like Apache Spark and data streaming technologies (Kafka or Kinesis).

• Programming: Strong coding skills in Python , alongside advanced SQL expertise.

• Data Modelling: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Step functions

• Experience with modern data stack tools like Databricks or Snowflake .
