Integration & Test Engineer

We are seeking an Integration & Test Engineer who is fully competent in core Integration and Test (I&T) skills and can contribute to the effective producibility of designs, cost management, and schedule constraints. This role involves supporting and executing test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and safety, as well as identifying and reporting defects and issues.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the effective producibility of designs with a focus on cost and schedule constraints.

• Support and execute test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and safety.

• Identify, report, and document defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.

• Support trade studies, performance analyses, and risk and opportunity assessments.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing processes.

• Participate in verification plan development and validation, capturing program requirements and key test artifacts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and provide feedback.

• Solve problems by reviewing performance issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions for optimal performance.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code within the existing codebase, ensuring alignment with established architecture and coding standards., The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, utilizing modern technologies and methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile software development environment, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. The position may require occasional adjustments to working hours to meet project deadlines.

• Integration testing

• Proficiency in Python, SOAP UI, and SATCOM

• Experience with Kubernetes, React.js, HTML, CSS

• Familiarity with Bitbucket, TypeScript, Redux

• Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and socket programming

• Proficiency in Java

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

• 2+ years of experience with Software Engineering for Experienced-level or 5+ years for Career-level

• 1+ years working in Software Integration and/or Test activities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering

• 2+ years of experience with web-based development using ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

• 2+ years of experience with RESTFul APIs

• 5+ years of experience with open-source software development

• 3+ years of experience with web socket programming

• 3+ years with object-oriented programming, e.g., Java

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting software and network integration during platform deployments

• 3+ years of experience as a versatile engineer comfortable with roles such as web designer and UI designer

• 3+ years of experience integrating and troubleshooting front-end and back-end software components

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

• Experience with Government security requirements for software delivery involving system accreditation

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment using Atlassian Suite or similar tools

• Experience identifying security vulnerabilities within source code

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $75.00/hr.
