Job description

Experteer Overview In this hybrid System Architect role at HPE, you will shape the architecture of high-performance computing and AI hardware, covering electrical design and data-center considerations. You will collaborate with customers and solution architects to craft bids and guide platform development. You will mentor engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives aiming at long-term hardware strategy. You will apply emerging technologies to advance HPC/AI platforms, driving significant impact across business units. Compensation / Benefits * Develops strategy and technology roadmaps for electrical hardware design across the Global Business Unit * Collaborates with customers and HPE solution architects to prepare bid responses and architecture proposals * Provides design input and feedback for new product development and design reviews * Mentors less-experienced staff to drive hardware design innovation * Participates in selection processes for technical leaders Tasks * Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering * Typically 10+ years of experience * Industry expert in electronic hardware development * Experience with HPC and AI systems * Familiarity with high-speed interconnects (Infiniband, Cray Slingshot, Ethernet) * Familiarity with HPC/AI software stacks (schedulers, MPI) * Knowledge of AMD and Nvidia architectures (ROCM, CUDA) * Track record of innovation with multiple patents * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and customer interface skills Key requirements * Health & Wellbeing benefits * Career development programs * Unconditional inclusion and diversity * Hybrid work arrangement * Flexibility to manage work and personal needs
