Job description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), containerization, networking, and security principles in cloud environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Terraform or CloudFormation : Using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate resource provisioning.
  • Version Control: Work with version control systems like Git to manage and track changes in code repositories.
  • Configuration Management: Work with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef for automating server configurations.

  • DevOps:

  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Setting up of CI/CD pipelines to automate code builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Containerization: Containerization of technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack) for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Scripting: Automate tasks and processes with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Work with CDKs and APIs.

  • Networking:

  • Networking: Work on networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and security protocols.
  • Virtual Networking: Work with cloud-specific virtual network configurations, such as Amazon VPC or Azure Virtual Network.
  • Security: Work on network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and implementing security groups/access controls.
  • Load Balancing: Work on load balancing strategies and familiarity with cloud provider load balancer services., You are encouraged to send me your resume in as soon as possible if you are a proactive DevOps professional who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability in the software development process.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes cluster deployment and administration.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Release Management.
  • Openshift/OKD - Kubernetes technology
  • Argo CD - Continuous deployment
  • GitOps to back something like Argo CD deployment.
  • Helm Charts
