nBusiness Systems Analyst - Service Management/HR

• Provides feedback on the overall direction of the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as 3rd party software tools.\n\n \n

• Provides 2nd and 3rd level help desk support.\n\n Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software.\n\n Prepares training materials, schedules and conducts application system training as needed.\n\n Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff.\n\n Performs cost vs.\n\nbenefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements.\n\n \n

• Acts as liaison between business users, software vendors, and the broader user community.\n\nParticipates in software and functional user groups to manage issues, evaluate enhancement opportunities, exchange best practices, and stay informed on product direction. \n

• Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. \n

• Elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements and prepares functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, reports, interfaces, workflow changes, and process improvements.\n\nWorks with technical resources to ensure solutions meet business requirements. \n

• Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. \n

• Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training, etc. \n

• Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reports and performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials. \n

• May act as a team leader or group leader for projects / tasks established in a given functional area, such as: sales, service management, construction management and HR.\n\n

• 3-5+ years of leadership experience: manager, supervisor, group lead, etc. \n

• 5+ years’ experience in a Service/HR function. \n

• 8 - 12 months SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience. \n

• 3+ Years SAP Super User in related discipline. \n

• Strong customer service skills and orientation.\n\nHigh degree of flexibility in interface with customers / constituents. \n

• 2 years’ experience in project management skills. \n

• Ability to distinguish, learn and accept differences in business and end-user requirements. \n

• Ability to learn and expand technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. \n

• Highly organized with effective and cycle time sensitive time management and project management skills. \n

• Read, write and communicate fluently in English., * In-depth knowledge of a specific functional area of business operations (manufacturing, finance & accounting, sales & distribution, etc.). \n

• In depth knowledge of the SAP application software, including its functions & capabilities, configuration, reporting and support requirements. \n

• Proficiency in analysis, design and testing techniques. \n

• Good project management skills, including planning, methodologies, time tracking, leadership, etc. \n

• Good communication skills.\n\n \n

• Proficiency with various report development tools, report writers, or query tools, etc. \n

• Basic understanding of IT communications networks.
