Experteer Overview In this role you lead on-site HVAC control projects for data centers, planning and executing hardware design, programming, installation, commissioning, and closeout. You balance customer satisfaction with project finances, pursue change orders, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors. You’ll ensure safety, ethics, and compliance while mentoring technicians and design staff. This is a remote role with travel, offering growth, training, and a chance to shape advanced building automation solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Lead on-site control systems projects from planning through closeout for assigned customers * Oversee hardware design, software programming, installation coordination, and commissioning * Manage project financials including costs, billings, and collections; maintain profitability * Pursue change orders and communicate scope changes with clients * Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal staff; ensure safety and regulatory compliance * Provide direction and coaching to technicians, installers, designers, and administration * Prepare as-built and commissioning documentation; ensure proper warranty execution * Produce monthly revenue, cost, and gross margin forecasts and timely project billings * Schedule, procure, and manage materials; obtain bids and manage subcontractor payments * Ensure owner/operator training and delivery of operation manuals * Attend progress meetings and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders Tasks * Technical associate’s degree * 1-3 years in HVAC/Controls or Building Automation Systems with design or engineering experience * Hands-on experience in design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls * Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences * Ability to work independently and manage tasks * Strong PC skills and knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems Key requirements * Competitive base salary * Bonus program * Three weeks vacation plus holidays/sick time/PTO * Medical, dental, and vision benefits * 401K * Extensive training opportunities
