Golang Software Engineer

Architect and maintain Golang-based middleware services for large-scale hardware device orchestration. Extend and version gRPC API contracts using Protocol Buffers to synchronize multiple language consumers. Engineer an embedded middleware application to coordinate real-time hardware communication on controller platforms. Implement protocol-bridging services to translate legacy JSON-based client data into modern gRPC structures. Apply Google AIP-aligned API conventions to ensure consistent and well-structured service definitions. Execute automated unit, integration, and conformance tests to ensure software reliability within heterogeneous environments. Author comprehensive architecture decisions, technical API documentation, and operational runbooks for senior engineering squads. 3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing production-grade applications in Golang. Proficiency in gRPC and Protocol Buffers for architecting high-performance, versioned API contracts. Experience with embedded Linux operating systems and Docker-based containerized build environments. Experience with device communication protocols including RS485, serial transport, and TCP/IP abstractions. Experience in concurrent systems design utilizing goroutines, channels, and context management patterns. Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipeline automation through GitHub Actions. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical architectures and cross-team specifications.
