Entry to Mid-Level Software Engineer (TS/SCI

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements.
• Design and develop Java microservices with a focus on geospatial data processing, visualization and analysis.

As a Software Engineer on this team, you must be skilled and self-motivated to develop cutting-edge geospatial analysis, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and visualization microservices to support mission-focused systems. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant Java-based microservices that interact with both relational and NoSQL databases. Your work will contribute to enhancing the capabilities of our geospatial data processing and visualization tools, enabling better decision-making for mission-critical applications., * A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Experience working with Java
• Understanding of microservices architecture and design principles
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and their interactions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• A TS/SCI with Polygraph level of clearance

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with geospatial libraries and tools (ie GDAL, GeoTools)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
• Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $85,000 - $175,000.
