Senior Solution Engineer - Cloud & AI Data Platform

Experteer Overview You will help customers unlock the full potential of Microsoft’s cloud database and analytics stack. In this role you work closely with engineering and platform teams to accelerate Fabric Data Platform adoption through hands-on engagements. You will design secure, scalable solutions and guide migration into deployment workflows, delivering measurable modernization of customer data platforms. This role offers collaboration, continuous learning, and direct impact on enterprise data platforms in a dynamic AI-driven era. Compensation / Benefits * Drive technical sales with demos and PoCs to influence solution design and production deployments * Lead hands-on engagements such as hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate cloud platform adoption * Build trusted relationships with platform leads and co-design secure, scalable architectures * Resolve blockers and objections by collaborating with engineering to improve products * Maintain deep knowledge of Analytics Portfolio (Fabric, OneLake, DW, real-time BI, Copilot) and Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) * Maintain knowledge of on-prem EDW (Teradata, Netezza, Exadata), Hadoop & BI solutions * Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in cloud Database & Analytics communities and customer forums * Embody Microsoft culture and values Tasks * Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of pre-sales/consulting experience OR 5+ years of pre-sales/consulting experience OR equivalent experience * This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship required Key requirements * remote work opportunities * flexible work arrangements * inclusive culture * career development * collaboration with diverse teams * competitive compensation
