· Minimum 3 (mid) - 5(senior) yes experience in a software development context

· Software development experience as a technical individual contributor

· Hands on API and system development

· Experience in the video streaming space

· Cloud based development experience

· Have an understanding of APIs (Rest and GraphQL)

· A strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns

· Proficient in written and spoken English

· Experience building and consuming restful API in a micro services architecture

· Desirable experience with cloud platform like AWS, GCP, or Azure

· Experience designing and developing batch processing for data pipelines

· Strong JavaScript and type script professional software development experience in an agile environment using Git

· Practical knowledge of SQL and no SQL database model design and query optimisation

· Strong software engineering practices like unit testing, PR reviews, designed documentation and monitoring

· Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
