· Design and develop scalable applications using Python and modern full-stack technologies.

· Translate loosely defined business requirements into clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.

· Design and develop data-intensive applications, data pipelines, integrations, and services supporting AI/ML and business use cases.

· Build functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts with stakeholders to quickly validate ideas and shorten feedback cycles.

· Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, microservices, data processing components, and integrations.

· Work with relational and NoSQL databases and design efficient data models and data-access patterns.

· Collaborate on high-level system architecture, service design, component-level architecture, and technical standards.

· Lead module development from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and potentially lead a small engineering team.

· Write and refine technical requirements, architecture documents, technical design specifications, and other product-development artifacts.

· Partner with Product, Security, Risk, Compliance, Platform, Data, and Business teams to communicate technical tradeoffs and identify/manage technical risks early.

· Build production-ready systems with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and recovery mechanisms.

· Apply security-first and DevSecOps principles throughout the development lifecycle.

· Leverage AI/ML and agentic AI development tools responsibly to accelerate software development while maintaining code quality, correctness, explainability, and security.

· Establish quality gates, specification-driven development workflows, automated validations, and deterministic checks to identify and prevent AI-generated coding errors.

· Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, technical discussions, and production troubleshooting.

· Continuously improve engineering practices, development processes, system reliability, and operational readiness.
