Job description

Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Analyst at Tempus, you will design and implement clinical data models and analytics pipelines to support cancer-focused real-world evidence studies. You’ll work with dbt, SQL, and scripting languages to deliver analysis-ready datasets and dashboards that monitor study performance. You will ensure data integration across marts and manage data de-identification for HIPAA compliance. You’ll translate complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams, driving precision medicine initiatives. This role offers a chance to impact clinical decision-making and patient care at a fast-paced, data-driven company. Compensation / Benefits * Develop clinical data models using dbt and SQL based on business needs and interoperability with existing models and data delivery requirements * Create reports for central monitoring, KPI metrics, and visualization of study performance * Build data automation pipelines and post-processing routines to produce analysis-ready datasets * Support data integration across data marts and manage de-identification of PHI * Support code maintenance, validation, and documentation Tasks * 5+ years in analytics or consulting within Life Sciences or Healthcare * Strong SQL and scripting skills (R or Python) * Experience with Looker or BI software * Experience in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology, or clinical trials * Experience translating disorganized data into actionable insights * Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and visualization * Excellent communication and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment * Ownership mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity Key requirements * full range of benefits * incentive compensation * restricted stock units * medical benefits
