Job description

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Engineer, you will own the AWS cloud environment, focusing on multi-account governance, security, automation, and operations. You’ll partner with Application, DevOps, SRE, Network, and Security teams to maintain reliable, secure infrastructure at scale. You will drive automation, cost optimization, and governance initiatives to support development, staging, and production environments. This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud strategies while working across cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting. Compensation / Benefits * Manage AWS cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production * Support AWS multi-account governance using Control Tower, Organizations, OU structure, and guardrails * Administer IAM roles, policies, permission sets, security groups, and least-privilege access * Operate AWS IAM Identity Center including permission sets and group-based access * Implement and maintain Service Control Policies for security and compliance * Deploy and manage infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CLI, and automation scripts * Support networking components: VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/GW, load balancers, DNS, VPN * Monitor resources with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty; manage security and monitoring tools * Manage secrets with Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and Delinea; enforce encryption and access controls * Support cost optimization via right-sizing, reserved instances, savings plans, automation for shutdowns, budgeting * Create automation scripts in Python, Bash, AWS CLI, or Lambda; use Git and CI/CD for infrastructure changes * Maintain cloud architecture docs, runbooks, security controls, and runbooks * Participate in incident resolution, governance, and automation initiatives Tasks * 8+ years hands-on AWS experience * Strong knowledge of EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty * Experience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, IAM Identity Center, and SCPs * IaC experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation * Solid understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancing, NACLs, NAT, gateways) * Linux administration experience * CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline) * Git for version control and code reviews * Scripting/automation with Python, Bash, AWS CLI, or Lambda * Strong troubleshooting, security, encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance knowledge * Clear communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams Key requirements * paid vacation leave * paid sick leave * paid holidays * health insurance * flexible spending account or health savings account * dental insuranceā€,ā€life insuranceā€,ā€vision insuranceā€,ā€retirement benefitsā€,ā€short- and long-term disabilityā€,ā€4-week work from anywhereā€]
