Azure DevOps Engineer

We are building mobile apps to modernize our tools related to getting customers’ baggage from the time the agent scans the baggage until they are on the belt at the customer’s destination. We are doing this by first replacing our old legacy tools into a more modern mobile experience, then leveraging these new technologies to further optimize and enhance them in order to better serve our customers.

What we are Looking For: We are looking for someone to have the following responsibilities:

• Own the pipeline for our 2 apps (and likely more in the future) including monitoring and alarms.
• Our own app releases.
• Own our staging environments.
• Ensure automated tests are running and passing.
• Work with InfoSec & DevOps teams to make sure everything is compliant and up to date.

• Experienced Azure DevOps standards and practices which includes but is not limited to:
• Experience with Yaml, Azure templating, Terraform templates.
• Experience with Azure resources
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with mobile development is a plus.
• Own Performance/scaling of our services
• Own the health of our automated tests.

Soft Skills:

• Someone who automatically creates documentation for things they build in order to share knowledge, improve maintenance of their code, etc…
• A self-starter who can break down an ambiguous problem to manageable chunks, ask the right questions and determine a path to resolution.
