Experteer Overview In this role you will perform manual, component-to-system testing for a fast-paced, mission-critical program. You will write and execute system-level tests and evaluate software changes, contributing to defect verification across development and operations. You’ll join a dedicated manual test team within a broader test organization that maintains a complex testing framework and lab hardware. You will coordinate with engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to plan tests and ensure thorough coverage. This is a hands-on role with impact on software quality and delivery for national security missions. Compensation / Benefits * Coordinate testing priorities with engineers and customer stakeholders and set test event schedules * Collaborate with System-Level Test Teams and Scrum Masters to plan test environment prep, test procedures, and test execution * Identify cross-team dependencies and manage program release testing events * Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software applications * Develop, write, and execute system- and integration-level test procedures and reports * Evaluate software changes and verify corrective actions from development and testing activities * Utilize basic system administration skills and work with lab hardware * Create test data, define acceptance criteria, and design test methodologies for subsystems and modules * Plan and oversee regression testing using comprehensive operational test scenarios * Engage with customer points of contact for formal test milestones and witnessing * Understand software components and interfaces to ensure comprehensive coverage * Contribute to test plans and procedure documentation within the broader test organization * Support software configuration management related to test artifacts and environments * Collaborate with Software Development, Systems Engineering, Integration, Deployment, and Sustainment teams Tasks * BS degree with 18-20 years of relevant experience, or MS with 15-20 years, or PhD with 13-16 years * Experience participating in formal test events (Acceptance, User Acceptance, Final Release, Maintenance Release, etc.) and developing/executing formal system tests aligned with customer requirements * Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab and collecting/analyzing/presenting test results; ability to execute manual test procedures with elevated privileges * Experience documenting test results for corrective actions, reporting, and audits; strong leadership and communication skills for collaboration with management and technical staff * Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Key requirements * Paid Time Off * 11 paid Holidays * 401K with 6% company match * Flexible Schedules * Discounted Stock Purchase Plans * Technical Upskilling, Education and Training Support
