Alpha Data Services - Data Solution Architect, Managing Director

Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Solutions Architect, you will guide clients through the Alpha journey, from pre-sales diligence to implementation oversight. You’ll articulate the Alpha architecture, design end-to-end Front-to-Back data solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver durable data services. You will influence both product and delivery, bridging client needs with State Street capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to shape a scalable data platform on a global stage and work with a roster of strategic vendors. Compensation / Benefits * Lead pre-sales diligence and client presentations for Alpha Data Platform/ADS solutions * Document Target Data Solution Architecture and Future State Operating model * Own end-to-end data solution design and delivery coordination with EMEA implementation teams * Collaborate with internal owners (GTS, SaaS Ops, Cloud Ops, Platform Engineering, Product, ADS Implementation, Data Ops) and clients to resolve issues * Engage with external vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitive, MSCI, Factset, Axioma) as needed for implementations * Identify data service gaps and partner with Product/Service Practice managers to propose interim solutions * Align Alpha implementation activities with Client Implementation Executives/Leads * Design data flows from multiple sources to target consumption layer * Support bespoke data solutions for client-specific needs Tasks * Experience in leading pre-sales or major deal pursuits for data solutions and services * Proven ability to design and implement relational data models for audit, time series, and high-volume datasets * Strong understanding of data management concepts and performance profiling for complex data models * Extensive experience with Financial Services data domains (Security Master, Transactions, Positions, Analytics, ESG, etc.) * Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Observability, Data Lineage, and related tooling * Working knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud platforms; Snowflake and Databricks is a plus * Experience with integrating internal/external systems and triaging data issues * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, including C-suite * Familiarity with ML/AI applications in data management is a plus * Prior experience with State Street/CRD/Aladdin or similar OMS is a plus Key requirements * flexible Work Program * medical care * insurance and savings plans * paid volunteer days * matching gift program * employee networks
