Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Engineer to join our Healthcare Analytics & Insights Managed Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, tuning, and maintaining real-time Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines that stream critical healthcare data into enterprise Operational Data Store landing zones. You will collaborate closely with ETL developers and database specialists to ensure high-availability, low-latency data replication that powers core analytics and business operations., Design, implement, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate CDC pipelines replicating enterprise source system tables (claims, membership, provider, enrollment, and encounter data) from Oracle OLTP source databases to enterprise ODS landing zones in near real-time.

Configure and manage the full GoldenGate process lifecycle, including Extract (log-based CDC from Oracle redo/archive logs), Data Pump (trail file transmission across network), and Replicat (apply DML changes to target landing zone databases).

Monitor and maintain GoldenGate replication health across active pipelines through lag monitoring, trail file management, disk space governance, and proactive alerting for Extract/Replicat abends.

Perform GoldenGate performance tuning via Extract parallelism, Replicat threading (Integrated / Parallel Replicat), HANDLECOLLISIONS configuration, and target database bulk apply optimization.

Manage replication across large-scale table sets (500+ tables), maintaining table-level configurations, DDL replication handling, and schema change management.

Implement conflict detection and resolution (CDR) strategies using HANDLECOLLISIONS, REPERROR handling, and custom conflict resolution routines for multi-source replication environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in production Oracle GoldenGate deployment, configuration, and monitoring.

Proven expertise in log-based Change Data Capture (CDC), Oracle redo/archive log mining, and supplemental logging.

Strong database and SQL skills (Oracle, DB2) with experience supporting large-scale, high-transaction environments (500+ tables).

Solid understanding of Managed Services SLA models, ITSM frameworks (ServiceNow), and production support standards.
