Job description

Experteer Overview As a Symitar Programmer II, you design, develop, and maintain Symitar core processing applications to meet credit union needs. You will work with cross-functional teammates to implement robust solutions and provide technical leadership to junior developers. You’ll translate business requirements into technical specs, troubleshoot complex issues, and document designs to support stable, scalable systems. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence core processing and collaborate within a Mission-driven financial services team. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, test, and implement Symitar PowerOn solutions * Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers * Collaborate with stakeholders to identify enhancements and optimizations * Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Symitar apps * Document technical designs, processes, and procedures Tasks * 3+ years of Symitar programming and development * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Proficiency in Symitar PowerOn and HTML/JavaScript * Strong understanding of SDLC principles * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Familiarity with project management methodologies Key requirements * weekly pay * comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) * HSA match * retirement options including 401(k) with company match and Pension * paid time off and holidays * tuition reimbursement
