Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Architect Location: Remote Duration: 2 months initial Our Client is hiring for a reputed client for an exciting Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Architect contract role, focused on shaping how physical technology assets are planned, governed, tracked and disposed of across their lifecycle. What you’ll be doing: Define and govern an enterprise Hardware Asset Management strategy, operating model and roadmap Lead target-state HAM processes and governance structures, including standards and controls for lifecycle management Govern end-to-end asset lifecycle activities: planning, procurement, receipt, deployment, moves/adds/changes, maintenance/refresh, replacement, retirement and disposal Drive CMDB alignment and asset repository consistency, improving inventory and configuration data integrity Design integrations across asset lifecycle, including CMDB platforms, discovery tools, procurement, ERP and service management ecosystems Partner with finance and

procurement to support forecasting, depreciation tracking, cost allocation and TCO analysis-identifying utilisation and investment optimisation opportunities Support sustainability-led asset retirement, e-waste and data destruction compliance, plus reutilisation/refurbishment and circular economy initiatives Present asset management insights and recommendations to senior leadership and support audit readiness and compliance outcomes What you’ll bring: Significant experience across Hardware Asset Management, IT Asset Management, Enterprise Architecture or Service Management Proven ability to design and implement enterprise HAM operating models and lifecycle governance Strong hands-on understanding of CMDB management and architecture alignment Experience working across procurement/supply chain and financial asset management processes Comfortable operating in large workplace, datacentre or infrastructure environments, translating requirements into effective governance controls Skilled stakeholder collaboration across enterprise architecture, service management, security, workplace services, datacentre operations and technology suppliers Additional information: Clearance: BPSS If this sounds like the role where you can make hardware asset governance genuinely work-accurately, efficiently and compliantly-send your CV.
