Oversee engineering operations across a cluster of data centre sites.

Lead and develop Data Centre Managers, Engineering Managers and technical teams.

Ensure critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure is maintained safely and reliably.

Drive engineering performance, resilience and operational consistency across the portfolio.
-
Oversee planned, reactive, statutory and lifecycle maintenance programmes.
-
Manage technical incidents, escalations and root-cause investigations.
-
Ensure compliance with permits, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
-
Monitor performance against contractual KPIs, SLAs and client expectations.
-
Maintain senior-level relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
-
Review operational reports and present performance updates.
-
Support technical projects, asset replacement and infrastructure upgrades.
-
Manage budgets, forecasts, expenditure and commercial performance.

Identify efficiencies, cost savings and service improvement opportunities.

Ensure appropriate staffing, succession planning and team development.

Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
This is a senior technical leadership role with responsibility for engineering performance, operational delivery, people management and client relationships across multiple critical sites.
The successful candidate must come from a strong technical engineering background and have proven experience managing teams and services within data centres, critical environments or complex building services operations., * Strong technical background within electrical, mechanical or building services engineering.

Senior management experience within data centres or critical environments.

Experience overseeing multiple sites or a regional engineering portfolio.

Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

Proven experience leading managers, engineers and specialist contractors.

Good commercial and financial awareness.

Strong client, stakeholder and contract management skills.
-
Relevant technical, engineering or management qualifications.
-
Confident leadership style with strong communication and decision-making skills.
