Job description

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of your dedicated Scrum team. Working within a broader agile environment alongside Product Owners, Developers, and Designers, you will act as a servant-leader. You will facilitate Scrum events, support backlog refinement, remove impediments, and empower teams to maintain a sustainable pace while delivering exceptional value. About the Client

  • Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and eliminate blockers to protect team focus and ensure sprint goals are met.
  • Product Owner Support: Assist Product Owners with effective techniques for Product Backlog management, domain alignment, and release planning.
  • Event Facilitation: Lead efficient, timeboxed Scrum events and promote cross-functional collaboration across the wider organisation.
  • Culture & Environment: Build an environment of trust, transparency, and creative problem-solving where healthy conflict resolution can thrive.
  • Organisational Agility: Work alongside peer Scrum Masters to lead, train, and coach the broader business in adopting agile practices and improving cross-team alignment.

Requirements

  • Scrum Leadership: Proven experience acting as a Scrum Master for technical, software-focused teams.
  • Coaching Expertise: Strong background in coaching individuals and teams towards self-management and sustainable growth.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Mindset: A proactive, curious, and courageous approach to problem-solving, with a strong commitment to acting as a servant-leader.
  • Work Authorisation: Must possess full eligibility to live and work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship. Successful candidates will undergo a standard basic background check.
