Azure Security Engineer Associate

• Bring cloud architecture strategies to life by implementing Azure landing zones, reference architectures, governance standards, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Partner with Cloud Architects and Operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and operationally ready.
• Translate business, security, and technical requirements into high-quality cloud solutions that deliver measurable value., * Design and engineer enterprise Azure services supporting global business-critical workloads.
• Develop secure, cloud-native and hybrid-cloud platforms that accelerate application modernization and Azure adoption.
• Enhance platform capabilities across networking, identity, security, storage, compute, containers, and application services., * Create reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop self-service capabilities, service catalogs, standardized templates, and “golden path” deployment experiences.
• Drive engineering consistency through automation, reducing manual effort while improving speed, quality, and governance., * Implement secure-by-design solutions aligned with Azure best practices, Zero Trust principles, and enterprise governance requirements.
• Build observability capabilities using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, alerting, and operational automation.
• Partner with teams to improve cloud efficiency, cost transparency, and FinOps outcomes.

Lead Through Technical Excellence

• Influence engineering quality through technical reviews, mentoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational readiness assessments.
• Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and continuous improvement across the Azure estate.
• Serve as a trusted technical partner across architecture, security, operations, and application teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technology roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering Azure solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across Azure infrastructure, networking, security, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, and governance services.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD practices using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related technologies.
• Proven ability to implement secure cloud solutions using Azure Policy, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Key Vault, RBAC/PIM, and compliance controls.
• Experience supporting production environments, operational readiness, reliability engineering, troubleshooting, and service transition.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments, Azure Arc, and cloud migration initiatives., * Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud transformation and modernization programs.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AKS, and containerized platforms.
• Experience working within global and highly regulated organizations.
