Automation Consultant - London Market Insurance - Excel VBA - Power BI - Contract

The Automation Consultant will work closely with a Lloyd’s of London insurance client to review existing Excel and VBA Macro-based processes, understand how information is gathered and used, and recommend improvements to the current automation strategy. While the immediate focus is on VBA and Macros, the client is open to modernising these processes using technologies such as Power BI or AI where appropriate.

• Strong Excel, VBA and Macro development experience.
• Experience reviewing and improving business processes and automation workflows.
• Experience with Power BI and working with structured data.
• Ability to advise on automation strategy and recommend modern alternatives to Legacy Excel solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience within the Lloyd’s of London or London Market Insurance environment is highly desirable.
