Job description
· Plan and facilitate user-centered discovery and design workshops with product owners, business subject matter experts, internal users, and other stakeholders to understand user roles, goals, workflows, pain points, content needs, and acceptance criteria.
· Analyze Accreditation business processes and translate approved requirements into user flows, information architecture, screen concepts, interaction patterns, and design recommendations for internal and external users.
· Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, and annotations that communicate intended behavior, content, navigation, responsive layouts, and accessibility considerations.
· Define and maintain reusable UX standards, design patterns, page structures, navigation models, and component guidance that support consistent experiences across Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
· Design Applicant Portal experiences for registration and authentication readiness, profile management, application submission, document upload, status tracking, messaging, Requests for Information responses, Fee Agreement submission, and Continuing Legal Education documentation.
· Design internal user experiences supporting case intake, profile and lifecycle management, reviews, task and queue management, approvals, correspondence, workload visibility, reporting, and audit-oriented processes.
· Collaborate with Salesforce architects, administrators, developers, and Flow resources to ensure designs are technically feasible, configuration-first, reusable, secure, responsive, and aligned with approved platform standards.
· Apply Section 508 and related accessibility requirements throughout the design lifecycle; support accessible content, forms, navigation, interaction behavior, visual presentation, and responsive use across supported devices.
· Coordinate with Government stakeholders on portal branding, instructional content, legal notices, privacy statements, applicant guidance, communications, and other public-facing content required for the approved experience.
· Facilitate design reviews, iterative demonstrations, prototype validation, usability evaluations, and stakeholder feedback sessions; refine designs before formal User Acceptance Testing.
· Perform design quality reviews of configured and developed functionality, identify usability or accessibility issues, document defects and recommendations, and work with delivery teams through resolution and retesting.
· Develop UX-related user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation, decision records, and supporting evidence needed for backlog refinement, implementation, testing, accessibility review, and release readiness.
· Participate in two-week Agile sprints, Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, estimation, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and cross-functional technical and business working sessions.
· Support production deployment, Hypercare, and operational transition by evaluating user feedback, helping resolve experience-related issues, and maintaining UX standards and design documentation for ongoing support.
Requirements
· 3+ years of professional UI/UX, interaction design, or user-centered design experience supporting enterprise web applications, self-service portals, case-management solutions, or similarly complex digital products.
· Demonstrated experience conducting user-centered discovery, analyzing workflows, and translating business requirements into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and implementation-ready design specifications.
· Experience designing responsive interfaces, complex forms, navigation, dashboards, task-oriented workflows, and content-rich experiences for both internal and external users.
· Proficiency with one or more industry-standard wireframing, prototyping, and collaborative design tools, with the ability to communicate interaction behavior and visual requirements clearly to implementation teams.
· Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and experience incorporating accessibility into design, content, interaction patterns, usability reviews, and implementation validation.
· Experience establishing or applying reusable UX standards, component patterns, and design-system principles to maintain consistency across a multi-feature enterprise solution.
· Ability to conduct usability evaluations, facilitate stakeholder design reviews, synthesize feedback, identify design risks, and refine solutions through iterative demonstrations and validation.
· Experience collaborating with business analysts, product owners, architects, developers, administrators, accessibility specialists, testers, and customer stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.
· Ability to balance user needs, business rules, security and privacy considerations, platform constraints, and delivery priorities when designing solutions that handle sensitive or personally identifiable information.
· Strong facilitation, analytical, visual communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to manage assigned design work from discovery and backlog refinement through implementation review, testing, production deployment, and post-release support.

· Experience designing applicant, licensing, credentialing, accreditation, legal case-management, or other document-intensive workflows involving reviews, correspondence, status tracking, and approvals.
· Familiarity with accessibility review tools and practices, design-to-development handoff, design quality assurance, and preparation of accessibility or release-readiness evidence.
· Experience working with Agile or SAFe delivery teams and backlog tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable platforms.
