Mobile App Release Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will own the end-to-end release lifecycle for iOS and Android apps, driving secure, reliable, and fast software delivery. You will automate builds, sign-offs, and deployments, and manage App Store and Google Play releases in close collaboration with engineering, QA, product, and operations. You’ll monitor release health, coordinate cross-team plans, and implement scalable practices to improve release quality. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end release process for iOS and Android apps * Coordinate multi-team release schedules * Manage production, beta, and internal testing releases * Execute emergency hotfixes and patches * Ensure release readiness via quality gates * Build and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines * Automate build, testing, signing, packaging, deployment workflows * Submit and publish apps to App Store and Google Play * Coordinate metadata updates, versioning, and store deployment issues * Monitor release metrics and support rollback procedures * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in release planning * Maintain release documentation and runbooks * Ensure security and governance compliance and maintain audit trails Tasks * 4+ years of software or release engineering experience * 3+ years supporting mobile application releases * Experience with iOS and Android release processes * Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise, CircleCI, or similar) * Experience with Fastlane * Proficient with Git version control * Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console * Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) * Understanding of mobile application lifecycle management * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills * Mobile observability and monitoring tools * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies * Experience with enterprise-scale mobile applications * Experience with Gradle, Xcode, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager * TestFlight * Firebase App Distribution * AWS Grafana Key requirements * competitive salary * flexible benefits package * health, dental, and vision insurance * Health Savings Account * 401(k) with company match * paid time off and holidays and Employee Stock Purchase Plan
