Job description

Experteer Overview Mercury Systems seeks a Test Engineer I to develop and execute tests on rugged server systems for aerospace and defense. You will implement standardized testing practices, design procedures meeting MIL-STD DO standards, and validate hardware and software under extreme conditions. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to align test objectives with requirements and support test analysis tooling. The role supports mission assurance and root-cause analysis, contributing to reliability and security of mission-critical products. Compensation / Benefits * Implement standardized system testing practices across Mercury’s ruggedized servers and secure software product lines * Design and implement test procedures that meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, DO-461, DO-167, DO-178C, DO-254) * Oversee functional, environmental, and stress testing of hardware and software systems in extreme conditions * Collaborate with software development teams to integrate and validate secure software solutions * Partner with systems engineering, hardware design, and software development teams to align test objectives with product requirements * Support the development of tools to streamline test analysis, reporting, and documentation * Support the standardization of systems used to track testing issues and document results * Collaborate with Mission Assurance teams to conduct root cause analyses for issues identified during testing and sustainment Tasks * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field * Experience in LabVIEW, Python, Bash, C#, MATLAB, or other programming languages used for automation, data collection, and analysis Key requirements * tuition reimbursement * comprehensive skills training * casual and enjoyable atmosphere
