Experteer Overview In this senior role, you will architect and automate secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform for government environments. You’ll work with a cloud service broker team to deliver DoD-ready capabilities, emphasizing DevSecOps, IaC, and automation to make tasks repeatable across environments. You’ll tackle provisioning, security, and governance challenges at scale, shaping how cloud services are used securely within the organization. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and automate GCP infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) for secure government environments * Provision and manage GCP resources (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL) * Collaborate with cross-functional team to advance cloud capabilities and secure deployments * Apply DevSecOps practices to automate security checks and governance controls * Support ongoing modernization and optimization of cloud workloads on GCP * Maintain code management workflows with Git/GitLab in a collaborative environment * Assist in obtaining DoD IAT Level II certification within 30 days of hire Tasks * 5+ years of software solutions experience for secure government cloud environments * 3+ years of IaC experience using Terraform * 2+ years of design, development, and deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) * Experience provisioning GCP resources via IaC and automation tools * Experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL * Experience with Git or GitLab in collaborative teams * Knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, TLS * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of software engineering experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of software engineering experience * Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date * Nice to have:experience building and securing workloads on GCP; cloud governance controls (Organization Policies and IAM best practices) Key requirements * health benefits * life insurance * disability benefits * retirement benefits * professional development * tuition assistance
