Job description

We are seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java and Scala, cloud-native development on AWS, and experience leading technical initiatives while mentoring engineering teams., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems.

Lead the architecture and implementation of cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code using Java and Scala.
Drive technical design discussions and establish engineering best practices.
Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver business solutions.
Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to support technical growth.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term improvements.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java and Scala.
Hands-on experience building distributed systems and microservices.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, or similar.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
