Job description

Experteer Overview As a software engineer, you will translate vision research into production-ready systems, using clean code, APIs, and scalable infrastructure. You’ll work in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to tackle challenging client problems and continuously improve system quality. Your work supports the full stack from feature extraction in imagery to deployment, leveraging modern architectures and open-source tools. This role offers hands-on impact on real-world vision solutions within a mission-driven consulting setting. Compensation / Benefits * Develop algorithms to extract, track, and analyze features in imagery * Build and deliver production-ready software from vision to deployment * Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers * Participate in design and code reviews * Implement and test modular components for design compliance * Work with containerization technologies and APIs to support scalable systems * Contribute to cross-functional, collaborative development in an agile environment Tasks * 3+ years of experience developing imagery feature extraction and tracking algorithms * Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C, and C++ * Experience creating/testing modules for compliance with design specifications * Experience with Podman or Docker containerization * Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs * Ability to participate in design and code reviews and work with cross-functional teams * Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam * Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field Key requirements * health benefits * life benefits * disability benefits * retirement benefits * paid leave * professional development
