IT Network Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement and support a secure, scalable network infrastructure for Johnson Electric’s manufacturing operations, collaborating with global IT teams to ensure performance, reliability and cybersecurity. You will lead a team of Network Administrators and manage both enterprise and plant-floor networks, driving standards and incident response. The position offers global exposure and opportunities to work on impactful IT projects in a manufacturing setting. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement scalable LAN, WAN and GAN network architectures * Lead and mentor a team of Network Administrators * Manage core/edge switching, OT networks and Wi-Fi access points * Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols * Design plant-floor OT network segmentation (including Xona) * Deploy and support cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender) * Collaborate with global network teams to enforce infrastructure standards * Monitor performance with Zabbix and proactively mitigate risks * Support cybersecurity incidents and remediation * Ensure compliance with TISAX, CMMC and security audits * Lead or contribute to IT projects (upgrades, migrations, deployments) * Maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures * Coordinate with external vendors and service providers Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 7+ years in IT infrastructure, networking or architecture * 3+ years supporting OT networks in a manufacturing environment * Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, IP addressing and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) * Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE); CISSP strongly preferred * Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments * Strong troubleshooting, communication and project leadership skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced on-site manufacturing setting Key requirements * Innovative environment * Professional development opportunities * Collaborative culture * Global exposure
