Job description

Experteer Overview In this Senior IA role, you will lead policy development, RMF implementation, and cybersecurity compliance for ACC CIO/G6 at Redstone Arsenal. You’ll guide a team of IA professionals, shape DoD/Army-aligned standards, and drive risk-based improvements across multiple systems. You will deliver executive briefings, manage RMF lifecycle, and align cybersecurity activities with Army and ACC strategy. This position offers a meaningful chance to influence national defense cybersecurity programs and practices. Compensation / Benefits * Establish and maintain ACC cybersecurity SOPs and TTPs * Build and maintain the ACC CIO/G6 Cybersecurity portal for key docs * Lead RMF lifecycle for multiple systems and ensure ATO status * Mentor Intermediate IA Professionals and provide RMF guidance * Maintain training/certification records in an approved repository * Provide executive briefings and monthly performance reports to senior government officials * Report deficiencies weekly and communicate cybersecurity status and risks * Support privacy program development (AR 340-21) and privacy training/policy initiatives * Attend cyber-related working groups and coordinate with Government calendar * Complete and track Cybersecurity taskers for HQ ACC Division Chief * Utilize assessment tools to determine posture and develop remediation plans * Align cybersecurity priorities with Army and ACC strategic plans * Identify emerging cyber capabilities and assess potential DoDIN/command enclave integration * Support service, joint, and interagency events and strategize on cybersecurity trends * Prepare vision documents and strategic studies for cybersecurity planning * Provide program support for incident handling and reporting for Privacy Official Tasks * Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity with policy, RMF, and compliance focus * Experience leading and mentoring junior staff * Proficient in DoD and Army cybersecurity regulations and RMF * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Proficiency with eMASS and cybersecurity tools * Strong written and verbal communication for senior leadership briefings * SECRET clearance * Bachelor’s degree in related field * One of the following certifications: CISM, CISSO, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, CISSP-ISSMP, or CISSP Key requirements * Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance * Short-term and long-term disability coverage * 11 paid holidays annually * 401(k) with generous company match and immediate vesting * Paid leave including bereavement and military obligations * Professional development funding for certifications and degrees
